"I just want to complain about the lousy service Cox cable is providing to
me in Las Vegas.
My zip code is 89084 and the nearest major cross streets are Deer Springs
and Aviary Way. (turns into Allen going south at Centennial Parkway)
The analog TV service I use is delivered by Cox Communications. They are
continually made aware that my Television service is not being delivered,
but they are still collecting the fees without delivering acceptable
service. I have currently reported to Cox Support all the lower channels
up to 22 are continually snowy.
The service is much worse before the last cable guy came round to check on
the problem. It used to be channels up to 9 were bad, but since the last
cable techs visit my service it is snowy to channel 22.
I have wondered could someone be tapping into our lines? If someone is,
how are they doing it? Could someone be swiping the copper wire I keep
hearing so much about?
I do not want to call the cable guy back that came out on Friday. He
wants me to call him on his cell rather than the office, for one reason or
another I don't feel comfortable about calling him directly.
Calling Cox again tomorrow and I will have to deal with the very annoying
robot system that is not functioning properly. Tis a robotic unhelpful
telephone tree that creates or elevates my anger. Maybe no one at Cox has
had to use this system, or it might have been corrected or gone a long
time ago. I wanted to wait until forced to switch to digital cable, as i
use the news mostly, but I do not wish to have these constant problems
until required to switch to a digital signal. Might it be that Cox is
delivering poor analog service forcing the subscribers to make a early $30
increase in television delivery fees?
This is ridiculous. The last time I had a decent TV signal was back in
March. Then they did something, and it's never the same, making me scream
when i turn the TV on, to watch the local news. Here is what I recieved
from my friend...
