Maybe it's insignificant and OT but I must rant.
Where the HELL can I get a TV Guide that lists programs during the
hours I watch television?
I used to subscribe to the monthly TV guide offered by Cox. When I
received an offer for "TV Guide" for only $19.95 for a year I quickly
subscribed, mailed a check, and unsubscribed with Cox's version. Hot
Damn, now all I receive for my $19.95 is a weekly "People" magazine
about television personalities.
Checking the Sunday newspaper TV insert is no better: it doesn't list
late-night programming either.
And, to put the final nail in my inquiry coffin, Cox's on-screen guide
goes blank at precisely 4:00 a.m. every day. (Some days it reappears
within a few minutes. Often it takes up to an hour.)
Does anyone else have these issues? Is there anywhere a real 24 hour
television guide for us late-night viewers can be found anymore?
(Or is this entire matter a conspiracy to get me to rent a DVR from
Cox???)
DH,
Maybe they are trying to force digital TV upon us early. With digital
TV you have an interactive TV schedule, rather than the analog TV Guide
channel, that only shows two channels of scheduled TV underneath their
advertising, and short TV programs…
Yahoo.com TV has 24-hour on-line schedule!

MSN gives more hours on one screen than yahoo…

What I would like is an on-line 24-hour spread sheet TV schedule,
rather than a 2 or 4 hour schedule that requires a reloading of the
next weblink to look beyond the current time schedule you have on
screen…
