Sad day - I do not have access to the Race Today? ABC is the
broadcaster, and Cox does not carry the race?

It appears according to the information available to me that channel 13 is
your local ABC network.

You might be correct tis listed as an affiliate, but there was no Indy
broadcast on that station... I am guessing it was a pay for view
broadcast in my area or on an expensive tier? I spent a bit of time
channel surfing before posting the question, but the race was not
available on my 70+ stations...

I did not check the Spanish channels... But presume Cox Communications
has forced me to abdicated another annual sporting event...

I do not have a digital TV connection to view the interactive menu, to
know for certain... I Looked on the Yahoo TV schedule as the station
that Cox previously provided as a broadcast schedule to viewers was given
to the TV-Guide Corp for their infomercial advertising & programing, I
have blocked that channel since TV-Guide took over 95% of the vertical
portion of the screen.

The Olympics are scheduled in August, and I am also making a wild guess
only a very limited portion of the largest international sporting event
will be broadcast by Cox Communications. There will be one channel
covering the opening and closing ceremonies, and limited spot viewing of
the events when the Americas have a good chance of winning during the
evening. Numerous TV stations from around the world will broadcast and
record the all of the games, but the Olympics will again be censored in
the US.

Where do you live? What did COX tell you about the lack of race
coverage when you asked them? Similarly, what did the local (i.e. the
CH 13 that you get) tell you? Ask them, before you complain to us.
As far as the Olympics, NBC is providing the coverage - 3600 hours
including 2000 hours of streaming video, which you should be able to
get with your PC.

Roy,

Las Vegas

I did telephone Cox, about the race not being on TV, they explained it
was on a 700 channel that is not incluided in my channel line-up...

I do not recall what was on channel 13, but it was not the race...

Thanks for the info on the Olympics...
