Hello,

Due to the fact that I live in Germany I am thrilled by what is going
on in the U.S. and Canada concerning co-working.

And yet I would like to ask where the co-working spaces in Germany
exist to present time?

I know about the Self-Hub in Berlin (http://self-germany.de) and the
emerging LockSchuppen in Dresden (http://mindbroker.de/wiki/
LockSchuppen).

What else is there hidden deep in the country?

Thanks a lot and best regards

Ralf

Hi,

In Berlin there are also :
Betahaus http://www.betahaus.de/
The Business Class http://www.thebusinessclass.net/en/node/52
The Hub Berlin http://berlin.the-hub.net/public/ which seems to be
different from SelfHub.

Funny that I end up answering the Berlin/Germany questions and I'm
just there for a few weeks ;)

Anyone know of a space in Munich?

I am currently in Berlin for a few months and have been looking for the same.  I am trying to find a few places to offer our E.Factor members (see here: http://www.efactor.com & http://www.efactor.com/p/elounges) to use on business travel and if they don't have an office.

Check this site out. http://hallenprojekt.de

Would love to meet up with fellow German peeps while in town.

Hi Patrick!

> Anyone know of a space inMunich?

I am currently working on building a coworking space in munich. You
can find information at http://coworking-munich.de and on twitter.com/
CoWorkingMunich

With a little luck and enough support from potential coworkers we will
have a real coworking space in fall. If you want to support us, just
contact me!

Thanks!

Cool. Too bad I'll be there before you get a chance to open. Drop me
an email if you want to meet up while I'm in Munich (18-22 June),
discuss coworking, etc.

What are recent platforms where Co-Working Spaces in Germany (and
beyond) are listed?

....this could drive real power to make the movement stronger;-)

Cheers,

Hi Alexander,

Thanks a lot for the links.

Co-Working seems to be a fairly uncommon thing at present time in
Germany.

What are the reasons for that, even though we more and more tend to be
a knowledge worker nation?

Best regards

Ralf

"Co-Working seems to be a fairly uncommon thing at present time in

Uncommon as opposed to where? Berlin seems to be booming with a great
social soft. project (Hallenprojekt) and at least 3 coworking spaces
plus others in the work in other cities. Except maybe for some parts
of the US, I would say you guys are going very well.
