I'm starting my own process of opening a coworking space for families
in San Jose, CA (possibly Campbell). A supervised play area for the kids (kinda like a gym
babysitting room) and the environment will cater to families but allow
for business meetings in a soundproof area of the building. I'll
probably go LLC.
I'm still working on a name. I love the space I'm working out of right
now (the Hacker Dojo), but really wanting something like this close to
my neighborhood. Already had some neighbors tell me they'd use the
facility! Does anyone have "tenants" running businesses that require shipping and inventory? How did you handle that? I had one gall mention she's moving out of her home office in six months but needs to be able to store and ship products (she runs a baby product biz) - she'd be willing to participate/share if she can do those two things.
I really appreciate the fact that there is a group like this that is so open to helping those of us just getting started!
