Hey guys,

My name is Craig, and I have recently joined the Longbranch Coworking
team in Toronto (www.longbranchcoworking.com, @LongbranchCW). I'm
excited to help coworking grow in Toronto and get Canada caught up to
the USA with Coworking Fever.

I was wondering if people would be interested in creating an
individual quick 30 second or less description of why they enjoy
coworking. The goal is to edit the video togethers so we can use the
video as promotional material on our sites. This will help show the
global movement of coworking and help describe the benefits of
coworking from different perspectives.I would gladly clip these clips
together and make the raw material available in the Google Files for
the group so people with a true skill in video editing may improve on
it later.

If you speak a foreign language it would be helpful if you could add
captions. This will also give a neat international flavor.

Hi Craig,

We have a 1 minute promotional video on our homepage: http://www.locusworkspace.com.
Inside that video is a 5-10 second clip of a Czech coworker talking
(in Czech with English subtitles) about why he likes coworking. Have a
look, and if you'd like to splice it in, let me know and I'll check it
out with him and the guy who made the film to make sure it's okay
(though I'd be *very* surprised if either would object).

Hi Craig,

Did you (or your team) buy the Longbranch location? I saw that it was for sale a few months ago, and I see that the website has had a great facelift.

The video sounds like a great idea. There was a few audio files that were similar to this (or I guess more of an interview style) a year or two ago. Does anyone remember who did them?

I am not familiar with the audio files but if anyone can come across them that would be great and potentially very useful. I have partnered up with Leo to focus on the Longbranch Coworking, formerly 3301. I'm glad you're interested in the video and if we can get 5 or more people willing to commit to a 30 sec. or less video then I think we can have something helpful for all Coworking operators.

Me and my partner had a similar idea some weeks ago, but a little bit different.

We and some brazilian space owners started a project called Coworking Exchange.

The project goal is to improve the relationship between coworking spaces.

One of the first idea that we had is making a "conversation" movie (like a viral) simulating that

all spaces are connected to each other.

What do you think about merge that ideas?

I like the idea and I'm guessing we could do it like a game of telephone where one person creates a video and then another space responds and ends with a questions for the next coworking space to respond to. This would be pretty cool but I would also like to do the general What You Like About Coworking video because I think it will be good for promotional purpose and communicate the benefit to customers. I think both videos would be great additions. Have you started on the video by any chance?

I love this idea and could contribute. I'm afraid my skills are
limited to what I can do with my laptop cam or a Flip Video, but I
could talk in front of a camera for 30s-1min and I'm sure I could get
some of our members to do so as well.
