Palo Alto / Stanford Area

Hi Everyone,

I'm moving from Miami to Stanford in September and was wondering if there was any coworking spots near the Stanford campus or fairly close to the Stanford / Palo Alto area.

Heard about something called "Colors" recently. A lot of what you get
in that area is more cubicle/corporate-style stuff than what most of
us would call "coworking". at a slight distance from Palo Alto is The
Hacker Dojo. Check it out: www.hackerdojo.net I think.

Hey Matt

Go west young man!

The closest coworking space to Stanford is Silicon Valley Pad   Its in Menlo Park, about 5-8' from Stanford.

There is a also a great space in downtown Palo Alto, 2' from Stanford that has not yet opened ("Color Workspace") across the street fro the Penninsula Creamery.  

If you venture 20' south, you'll hit NextSpace San Jose and Ground Floor Silicon Valley.

...and of course 35' north in San Francisco you'll find the mother lode... NextSpace SF, Parisoma, Sandbox Suites, Rocketspace, Hatchery, CoSpot, Wework and more

Color Workspace would be awesome (should be within biking distance), hope to find out more about them soon.

NextSpace and Ground Floor could also be handy as I'm looking at a data center a couple blocks from them to host some servers.

Nope, I was actually looking at coworking spots in broward since I thought I could carpool with someone and I ended up renting a desk in Boca. I've been meaning to check out Buro though and MiamiShared.

Yeah I hear you.  I've looked for spots in Broward with no luck, so I've decided to start my own space.  Good luck in Palo Alto, you're going to love it over there.
