Does anyone know of any good directory sites for coworking spaces.
There are a lot of sites that look really good but they don't seem
quite comprehensive enough. Am I alone in thinking this?

The best one is the German one http://www.coworking.de/ [only problem
with this site is that map isn't easy to search as the window is too
small!] I'm tempted to make my own directory along these lines for the
UK!

negative. That's why Jacob in Seattle is launching the coworking wiki project.
LooseCubes, LiquidSpace, et al are the closest thing for a comprehensive directory.

FYI, this question gets asked nearly every month.

Thanks for the shout-out, Jerome! The Coworking Wiki has a community-run, non-commercial Coworking Directory. We're currently at work on a project to upgrade the wiki, and part of the redesign includes moving the directory to a map-based, searchable platform, but we still have a long way to go before we can make that happen. I hope this helps!

Hey James,
You can try eworky.com too; we're working on having the directory as
comprehensive as possible, and it's collaborative too, meaning that
our users participate in making the directory luxuriant and complete
(by detailing the offers, rating the spaces, etc.)
Hope that helps!

Not quite what you're after but one other to flag is www.worksnug.com
- it's about places to work not just co-working spaces (Most are
coffee shops)
We're building a UK directory as well!

The European Coworking Directory is also my go-to resource; in Holland
there is http://www.Deskbookers.com, which is very promising for the
future (and the guys who run it are truly fabulous) but it is, well,
in Dutch and all which rather limits is usefulness geographically.

For specific requests there is Coworking Europe on Facebook, which is
a little chaotic but a good place to start for these.

I had just yesterday a request for a joint membership NL/UK and was
confronted with the absence of such a resource in the UK other than
worksnug -- which I love and am an Ambassador for, but is too broad
for this particular use; I also have regular requests for joint
memberships or Coworking Visa arrangements for NL/PL. Germany is
easy, they are terrifyingly well organized and could probably give us
a few tips in this area, as is Italy (tip o'the hat to the folks at
Cowo).

This is why I am volunteering for the wiki upgrade project *and you
should, too* because seriously, we need to get our collective shit
together on this. :-)

Everybody is making their own directory at the moment; I would myself
rather like to see us all making a directory.
