So sorry if this has been covered before; I could not find a current, definitive answer in the archives. Do I need to charge sales tax? If people do this, I assume they roll it into the monthly fee, and break it out at tax time?

The CA Board of Equalization site had some really confusing language about exemptions for usage of less than one day and $20, but I am pretty sure they weren't talking about space rental.

Thank you! It's hard to complete the business plan without this answer.

Is that because the members are being charged a "membership" fee?

Are you using CA as Cali or Cananda?

In Canada you do need to charge the sales tax. In Toronto the sales
tax was 13% and we had to add it on.
