latest stats on size of coworking sector?

Can someone point me to the latest numbers on the size and growth of the coworking sector? DeskMag's 2nd Global Coworking Survey said there are 1,100 spaces worldwide. But it was published last November, and I thought that was the number being thrown around at the Coworking Unconference in early 2011.

I'm giving an Ignite talk tomorrow night at the 1-year anniversary party of http://officexpats.com, our local coworking space on Bainbridge Island, WA, and could really use some up-to-date stats. Thanks in advance!

Hi there Leif,

there are some more up-to-date numbers, Deskmag published an article on the 9th of August that put the latest count at 1,800 spaces worldwide.
