Hello one and all

Okay, so I gather there is a need for a CoWorking location in Auckland
New Zealand. CoWorking is a fantastic idea and to have one set up in
Auckland around the CBD or city fringe would be fantastic.

I know there has been talk of doing this for a while, well I'm
prepared to put my money where my mouth is. Currently I don't have an
office space, but as I create a couple of business ideas next year I'm
going to need space - that's where I'd like to invite you to join me.

Small business is what drives New Zealand, and yet it is so darn hard
to establish and build a small business here. I want to create a place
that makes it just a little easier. With great coffee laying the
foundation, a good venue and access to tools and services you'd
normally only find in a large office. I'm thinking that we start with
a great venue, adding some good coffee (and other drinks), putting in
some desks and other furniture, adding some kick-ass technology (think
high speed fiber connection, big fancy printers, wifi, digital
projectors etc), to have some meeting rooms that can be booked, and
such like.

Down the track a bit I'd love to have a business hub available with
services like, onsite accountant, business advisors and other such
things ... but lets walk before we run.

We've seen some fantastic places set up in San Fran, Seattle,
Vancouver etc etc - lets do one here in NZ

If you are keen to see one put in place, want to know more about the
plans we've got so far, want to see our blog once we get it going,
want to add your thoughts, comments and feedback, drop a note here.

Rock on everyone

Yeah, BarCamp would be an ideal place to talk about it ... sadly I
have a prior engagement on that day.
However, young Darren will be heading along there and I'll have him
chat about it ....

Thanks heaps

Keran

Please get in touch. There are a few of us here in Auckland already
interested in coworking.

Hopefully we can reach critical mass and get something off the ground!

And I'll be going along to Barcamp and spreading the word...

Hey there all

Right we've set up http://www.openspaces.co.nz (coming soon) and
http://blog.openpsaces.co.nz
Head over there and have a read (ignore the fact we have no design
yet)

Spread the word far and wide ...
Email in...@openspaces.co.nz if you want any details

We'll look at maybe setting up a mailing list or Google Group next
week

Cheers all
K.
