Coworking meetup at SXSW?

There was an off-list suggestion for a coworking meetup at SXSW in March.

Who on this list is going and would be interested in meeting for drinks, etc?

We're doing a thing for Refresh at SXSW this year -- what might be
interesting is combining the two -- Co-working/Refresh? It seems to
me, that a lot of potential Co-workers (does that sound weird to anyone
else?) are also members of groups like Refresh. I know in the Houston
group we have a lot of Freelance Designers/Developers, who may or may
not have heard of Co-Working -- but would more than likely be
interested in learning more.

Just a suggestion. We have the back patio at The Side Bar booked for
Saturday -- but I am trying to get it switched to Sunday (because of
Bowling).

(80% certain I'll also be in SF for a week right before SXSW so I'll
be visiting your coworkings during that week)

When I was at Citizen Space yesterday and pushing for some more
definitive schedule so that I can make travel arrangements, Chris
suggested that I post again and keep this thread alive. What seemed to
be in the air was some kind of coworking gathering at SXSW. Part of
BarCamp Austin II, which overlaps a lot with SXSWi? An independent
event? Post-SXSWi (does that mean Tuesday or Wednesday?) And will
there be some kind of Camp one of those days? CoworkingCamp? More
social or more best-practices-sharing?

My goals for such an event would be rather basic:

* introduce the coworking concept and history
* gather interested parties who want to learn more
* gather parties who are running or trying to get a local coworking effort going
* attract experienced folks who might talk about similar initiatives
in the past (a la Gate 3)
* consider ways to better organize and facilitate our nascent communit(ies)
* consider any software needs that might advance our efforts
* have fun

So, I imagine an afternoon/evening dinner with small presentations/Q+A
would suffice followed by heading out to some extant party.

As for dates, well, I'm chronically chronologically challenged so I'm
open for proposals.

Hey Guys,

I'm definitely interested in a Co-Working Meetup During SXSWi -- but
need to know a time and place. My dance card is filling up
quickly ;) We're doing a Refresh "World" meetup on Friday from 4:30 -
6:00 PM. Perhaps all the folk interested in co-working can meet for
an hour or two after the Refresh Event?
