Welcome to the group!
For opening party ideas, many times it's best to find what is unique to your space and membership. Are many of your starting members gamers? Make it a gaming theme. Are they artists? Have an opening art exhibition. When you ask your membership what they want (and they are the best ones to ask, so that's highly recommended), they might surprise you. They may want a speaker, or to make it a mixer/networking event, or a potluck dinner, or tequila shots all around. You never know until you ask them.
Or, you know, since they might be around town filming, someone from the cast of The Walking Dead would certainly be a big draw. :-P

Hi all,
First post here into this group (so I assume it'll be moderated, not a problem!) but my team and I are excited to be announcing a new coworking spot in Atlanta, GA.
Wanted to see if anyone had any great ideas for the launch party (or "Coming Out" party)? We're going to start getting people in this year to the space but we'll be having our big Grand Opening early next year most likely.
Just looking for some good and creative ideas for such a party - obviously we want to make it awesome!
Excited to join this group here.
