Nice resource, and great initiative, the coworking asia conference. Conferences are a great way of meeting other coworking space owners and exchange ideas. It'd also be great if you could add a link to the conference website in the coworking wiki once you have some information online.

Great article. Interesting stories of history and direction of coworking in Japan! Love PAX's goals and aims, actually..

We are opening soon the first coworking space in Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh. So, we would love to know more about the conference and its contents, talks, and opportunities.
 
Well, the tech and freelancing markets have drastically started growing in Saudi Arabia, in the last 1.5 years. There were some trials of providing shared working spaces here, but none of them was dedicated and emphasizing on the community and the coworking feeling. So, from here came my idea..
I have been to few coworking spaces when I was living in Sydney, Australia and my partner has seen and heard of the hubs in the states.. So, we decided to bring the good that we know and provide the first space, community and hub..
We gave it a bit formal name: The Work Hub :)

Please let me know more about the conference..
