Scheduling - Billing - Merch. Acct./Bookeeping Workflow --How do you do it?

I've been running a shared workspace outside of DC (using MindBody for
scheduling/billing and QB for bookkeeping) but we are now on the cusp
of opening a space that is 5 times the size (17k sq/ft) of our current
location and offers a much more broad array of workspace/office
hoteling/ meeting room options. It is clear to me that our current
MindBody-QB combo. is not the solution.

I need serious help figuring out best practices (cloud based
preferably) for the Room/Workstation Reservation to Invoicing to
Payment to Bookeeping workflow. Any suggestions?

What software do you use and what is working best for you?

Hello,
I am preparing to start a coworking space by the end of this quarter.
Have been looking for this kind of scheduling solution also for a
while now (specifically cloudbased and selfservice) and finally
started using cobot (www.cobot.me) earlier this week. So can't give
you much of a testimonial yet, but looks very promising. Meanwhile
will keep following this discussion with lots of interest.

Source will be available on github. We are setting up repositories at
https://github.com/Cowoop/ . Expect this to be complete in next few days.
Currently, cowoop site is a just a launch page as you can see.

We run Nexudus Spaces, which does most of what you are requesting:
resource management, access control (barcodes or access cards), time
passes, invoicing, on-line payments and more. It also includes a CMS
and built-in website editor so you can run your space website from
within the same platform.

If you are still missing features, we also offer API access so you can
easily build Apps to run on top of the platform, to add your own
features (or sell them!)

Have a look at it, and send us any questions you may have. We'll be
more than happy to answer them.

Excited to hear about the forthcoming Deskwanted 'tools'! I just met
w/ a rep. from Morningstar. Their platform is used by Carr workspaces
and Liquidspace recently hooked up w/ them. The Liquidspace scheduling
now integrates w/ Morningstar calendar. The software they offer is
easily scalable, handles CRM, Scheduling, Printing, Billing, Credit
Card Processing, and is compatiable w/ Quickbooks. Price point not too
bad, $150 per month for 1st location.

Does anyone have feedback on Morningstar?

Isn't using two different systems a bit time consuming? Did you try cobot or any
other tool specific for coworking spaces? I would like to hear how your needs
are growing, which are the areas in which you feel you'd need to improve your
processes workflow due to the expansion.
Maybe we can help you with cobot. It is cloud based and it works great to
automate the scheduling, billing and payments allocation, plus it generates
handy reports.
