Hey all. Hope the week went well and you're all looking forward to a wonderful weekend. New Question -- if you send faxes for members, do you charge? How do you charge? With so many phones now having long distance included do you still charge extra for sending long distance faxes? I'm trying to get a fix on what "extras" to charge for and what to "throw in".

Thanks, guys!

We don't have a fax machine for members to use. There are a number of online fax services and we refer people to that. We have a Brother DCP-8085DN scanner/printer/copier that members can use to scan paper documents to a pdf if necessary, and then they can upload the pdf to the online fax service.

I meant to add that if you are running Lion on a mac, you can add a signature to a pdf file without the need to print, sign, and scan the document.

We do not have a charge for printing, copying, scanning, and faxing for members.  Even the basic membership ($129/m), has 100 units of each of those included.

Additionally, members can use phones for outbound or conference calling to any number  in the US and Canada without charge --though that's only when they are using a private space only (which they have some nominal amount included on their basic coworking membership).

Our goal was to make it easy on us (from a management and billing standpoint), as well as our members.  We believe in bundling, and value adds like this.  Members seem to appreciate it

Hope this was useful to you.
