Local Coworking Enthusiast Wishes To Open A Space

Hello, Everyone:

After much thought, soulsearching, researching, and rumination. I want
to take up the Coworking cause.

I'll tell you a little about myself. I'm from Schenectady and have
wanted to start a business for long time. I was taking steps towards a
retail startup, but after serious thought, I realized that kind of
business would not fulfill me and be very difficult to sustain in the
long run. As I thought about what I loved, I realized a community-
based business is something I wanted. And then I discovered Coworking.
The concept is so simple and necessary in this region, there's no
reason it could not work. And I DO sincerely want to make this work.

I've been writing a business plan, but am now "going public" with my
efforts. I've begun networking and have met great people interested in
the concept. I'm taking it one day/step at a time as I come across
people and resources that will result in the creation of a coworking
space.

I've also created a Facebook page called Coworking Albany as a blog/
contact page.

My bad, I'd understood Jelly to have a franchise aspect; I guess they don't, per our conversation offline Ada, and the Jelly site.
