Hi All,
Great to see an enthusiastic group for a good cause. Had met GP Ma'am
off late and she was appreciative of the efforts you all have put
together.
Most of you don't know me, I am a 2007 pass out of ECE and have been
actively working with couple of NGO's in Bangalore for the last 4
years where my role spans across structuring programs and arranging
finances for those programs. Have worked in designing of course
modules, English training programs, Vocational training programs &
Infrastructure development ( Science/computer Labs, AV rooms, Play
rooms, SMART Classes etc)
For an initiative as big and sustainable as this, there is a definite
merit in structuring the task force into modular units with well
defined roles and responsibilities.
That will also help raise the next set of volunteers and keep the flow
going seamlessly.
I have always stressed upon connecting any project with the commercial
value for building up a strong pipeline of human resources. Even
though this is a self initiative of helping out a 'near'
underprivileged school, there is alot of commercial value for new
volunteers to join the working group and help drive this.
If we can articulate that to the audience, I am hopefull we can get a
strong pool of new volunteers to help you all.
We tried connecting 2 weeks back but for some reasons we couldn't. Is
it possible for you all to accomodate your schedule so that we all can
regroup once ? I can offer my suggestions and you all can then decide
what ideas (if any) to assimilate in your project.
I can manage early morning (8-10am) any day (except Sunday). Any time
till 1pm on a Saturday.
(* Is it possible to meet tomorrow morning at PESIT ? )
Kindly let me know.
Regards,
Addy
