This Campaign is part of 3rd Generation Philanthropy Program that aims to enable citizens to access resources of the governments that are available in lakhs of crores but are hardly utilised by people due to lack of awareness about the schemes, inability to apply online as required, follow up etc. COVA has initiated the 3rd Generation Philanthropy Programs and was able to enable 2,500 students from deprived sections to apply for government scholarships in 2017-18 that is expected to fetch at least 75 lakhs for these students at an average of Rs. 3000 per head at a total expenditure of only Rs. 1.62 lakhs. Similarly, with just an expenditure of Rs. 16 lakhs, 958 traders and petty businesspersons were helped to access loans worth 2.2 croses from banks. Even the Citizens Entitlements Campaign is expected to enable over 20 lakh people in 30 Municipal Wards of Hyderabad to access 56 civic services at a cost of less than Rs. 5 per year per person.
