I cloned the previously course I built in GCB and (perhaps stupidly) included a hyphen in the name. Now when I try to run the data pump, I get the error below:

Pump status: Failed

The pump ran for 0:00:01 at 2018-01-03, 21:51 UTC

<HttpError 400 when requesting https://www.googleapis.com/bigquery/v2/projects/imaging-informatics-course/datasets?alt=json returned "Invalid dataset ID "niic-jan2018". Dataset IDs must be alphanumeric (plus underscores) and must be at most 1024 characters long.">

I think it's because of the hyphen, but I'm not sure how to get rid of it now. Is there any other way to get the data pump to work without changing the namespace?

My course runs next week and already has nearly 300 registrants, so if I can't get any data out of the data pump, I'm in deep trouble. Thanks for your help!

Sure, no problem.  On the data pump page, click on Settings - there's a link at the upper right.  That should take you to a page where you can specify the name.  It happens to be using the course name by default, but that's overridable.

I answered my own question! I hard-coded the dataset name under Dashboard-->Settings-->Data Pump without the hyphen, and it worked. Phew!
