We understand that some customers still have 32bit OS. We debated 32bit long and hard, but decided that looking forward with new technology was the way to go. We don't have plans to create 32bit version of Fusion 360 at this time.

As far as I can see HtoA downgrades the entire EXR to 16 bit (based on the metadata in Nuke) rather than just the chosen AOV.

Ideally we could just have 16 bit RGB AOV while the rest are 32bit (for example) within the same EXR.

The user case I'm after is to render the Beauty at 32bit (full float beauty) and then cherry-pick which AOV are 16bit and stay 32bit.
So "direct_diffuse" becomes 16 but while "Z" stays 32bit for example.

As per my original question: do you mean by simply setting certain AOV to 16bit (half) using the drop-down menus on the ROP in Houdini, while the Beauty remains 32bit (float) will work?

Even though the metadata for the resulting EXR is listed as 16bit... the AOV that were intentionally set to 32bit should still be 32bit?

Hi guys. I need to install the 64x version of Maya but it keeps giving me this error whenever i try to start the program. Its a problem ive been having for a long time and im really amazed that there is still no way to correct this. I even downloaded the sercive pack 2 version from the autodesk page but still nothing.
I was told that deleting the d3dx10_ files from the windows/system 32 folder and the reinstall it from the direct x page but it didnt work.
So if any of you have an insight on this please let me know.
