Hi Everyone!

I have a question about the multiple misspelled site listings such as,
macys.org, charlotteruse.com, etc. There are so many of them it is too
many to list. Should these get negative votes? They seem like obvious
attempts to list coupons that were already listed correctly.

Thanks for your reply in advance. :)

Hi,

No need to vote on these coupons, we will work on cleaning up the list
of stores, to remove duplicates...

Regards,
Kyle

My reason for wanting to get rid of the misspellings is kind of
annoying when so many misspellings come up when you are typing in the
url in the coupon submission form. I have accidentally selected the
wrong one many times already. :(

However, I'd like to point out that many of the .org's and such
forward to the .com site, so I guess I never saw it as being nasty or
shifty. [shrugs] I've only done it a handful of times (mostly by
accident), but I do see where Luv2deal is coming from... and I
certainly don't want to anger anyone! So I'm going to go through my
list and make sure I delete any of those. I'd like to suggest that
everyone else do the same so that it makes the Coupon Chief admin's
job a little bit easier.

I can help come up with a list of misspellings and alternates if you
want, Kyle. One thing we have to look out for, though, is there are
some websites with multiple urls. For example (one just off the top
of my head): disneyshopping.com and disneydirect.com. They both
redirect to disneystore.com... but that url isn't in the list for some
reason!

Thanks and take care,

I have also submitted to these misspelled sites in my haste to get the
coupon up. I usually realize it after the fact and go back and delete
it.
I do think it is a mistake usually when people post it but we all know
that stores are not .org. That is reserved for non profit
organizations. I would think these wrong links would confuse the
shopper mostly.
