Hello All Kailashis,

Long time since we got in touch on this group. I guess we are still able to reach each other on e-mail (for now).
It would be a good idea to form a WhatsApp group for future.

How have you all been? Hope you and your near and dear ones are doing well and safe.

I realized that soon we all will be completing 10 years of our epic journey to Kailash Manasarovar Yatra. The memories are evergreen and still fresh in my mind. 4th September, 2011 is the day we all met in Kathmandu and started the journey together.

Can we have a Zoom / BlueJeans call on 4th September (it’s a Saturday) at a convenient time to celebrate and relive those moments?

Do reply to this e-mail and also let me know your thoughts.

Hi all,

I am Praveen.

We are doing well.

How are you all?

Myself, My wife Vijaya, Mr. Vishwanath and Mrs Verna Vishwanath we all from Qatar were part of the group.

We had experienced the breathing difficulties way back in 2011, what most of the world population experiencing now.

The oxygen saturation  meters that were only used in mountaineering and hospitals has become a part of life now.

During this COVID pandemic many times I recalled the oxygen saturation, mountaineering, Tibet, Kailash yatra and all those moments.

I am still in touch with Basantha, very nice guy. Still energetic and an always happier person . I do follow him in Facebook.

I am in touch with Prakash Patwardhan in FB

Thanks Bhide Saab and your wonderful team for remembering all.

Always grateful to the team and not to forget the Nepali Sherpa team who took care of us and our needs🙏🙏🙏

My wife & I were also in the same K-M Group. All of us had  an enjoyable Yatra and we got to be friends.

I was in Ladakh almost for a month doing some treks. Did a road trip to Zanskar it was just fascinating. It would be great to connect over a zoom call as we have an account, else any other app is fine with me too. we can decide on any convenient date and make it happen!! Should we plan for 31st July Saturday?

Hello All,

Good to know that many of us are interested in reconnecting. Can I suggest, everyone share their mobile number here and we can have WhatsApp group to communicate. Of course, as mentioned by Venkat let us have some ground rules not to use it for general/political forwards.

We can also go for a zoom call later (either 4th September or any other suitable date) to celebrate our 10 years of Kailash parikrama.
