Hope all are doing well in their avenues...Its been long time we havent interacted...m just way back home..socha chalo lets atleast drop a mail...

Anywayz m doing good, pursuing MBA in Finance from ITM B-School Navi Mumbai.

Left my job in May...life is awesome here...got back to college life...

Taking up fotography seriously...inspired by Sinkar chacha...:D

Singapore update - I'm going to Seorakson National Park Mountains in Korea next month with 2 friends & Kishor & PV are going to EBC with Milind. 

Venkat, not heard of any new treks from you . . . and no news from the Mumbai group...

Think of our KM trip so often and dream of doing it once again! Hopefully in the next couple of years.
I am in SF, watching the boat race and more importantly becoming a generation older! !!.
My daughter had a son and have named him Nikhil!

Great to hear from you all....the wonderful memories of the Yatra still very fresh in our memories..... Great news re the MBA and sounds like you are having fun and the future is bright!

 

We are well and have had a transforming and very eventful couple of years, all good though. Recently went walking in the Austrian Alps and did think of you all and of course is no comparison to the glories of MK.....

 

Looking to plan more trips next year and would be good to catch up when we are in Mumbai this December...

Hi,

I Was out in the mountains did a trek in Himachal over the Bhaba (4800 m) & Pin (5300m) pass. Had planned this trek and send many guest for last 5-6 years, I guess this itinerary is a copyright to us as no one else as of date plans these two passes together. I could finally do it myself this year. I should say that it has been one of the prettiest treks that I have done in the Himalayas, it was tough but not as risky as Kanlidi.  Will mail few photos later.

We should all plan for a easy trek sometime in 2014, so that most of the members can participate if Nepal then we can think of ABC for 16 days or any other trek in Gharwal or Himachal . PV and Kishore are doing the EBC trek this October.

Renee & I will be in Nasik 12th & 13th instant. Back 13th night. In Pune after that till early Nov.

Bhaba (4,800 m) & Pin (5,300m) passes: It is very interesting to note that you mentioned this after you organised & did the trek! Generally, information is given before an event !! How about getting back to the conventional norm !?

This trek seems very interesting. Could you organise this for the KM,2011 Group in 2014 - maybe, June or September? This gives enough notice to all and maybe we could include a few non-2011 Kailashis.

ABC [Annapurna?] or EverestBC: I think, EBC via Lukla, Namche Bazar, Thyangboche, Dingboche, Gorakh Shep & Kala Pathar would be an excellent trek. What do you think? On the way back, a few could try to climb Island Peak [Kedar & I failed to do so in 2011.]

Kalindikhal Pass trek: Kedar & I and a couple of other friends seriously interested in this trek. It is really challenging; after our successful trek in 2009 and the unsuccessful one in 2010,  I am keen on trying it again. And Auden's Col?

KMYatra, Sept,14: Any dates, etc for this? Some friends very interested. Me too! Of course, including the long promised Inner Kora?
