Today is the start of a new cycle.  Although, it is true to say each day is a start of a new cycle!  Today is just a little bit more prolific.

In May last year I began living with my sister.  We got a place together in South West London.  I normally live in West London but I resolved to move in that direction thinking I probably had some past karma that needed cleaning up!  My mum lives just around the corner ;-)

But this is what happened, my sister unexpectedly got married in December and she moved out!  Brie, a young English girl moved in.  My flat isn't big and there was chaos for a few weeks.  Things settled and we got on pretty well.  Bright, beautiful and with no parents I figured she had had it pretty tough in her life but she didn't suffer fools.  She was a big time party girl.  Up till 4am most nights.  We were always going to 'go out' together but it didn't happen.  She got married!

Yep! There's something mysterious about the 'room'  everyone who's stayed in it has got married!  At least so far... but things 'come in 3's' they say!!  Let me reassure you, it's unlikely to be me ;-)

During the Christmas holidays, Brie went to visit a cousin in America.  When she returned she had 'met the man of my dreams!'  Two weeks later the man visited her in the flat.  Two weeks after that they met in Antigua and got married on the beach!  I watched the video.  They were in their beach gear, it was really sweet.  The waitresses of the bar they frequented were the witnesses!

Today, Brie left with six giant suitcases containing everything she ever wants to keep, (including her quilt from 'Harrods!') to move to America.  That's it!  I watched her leave down the steps, waving fanatically in my kaftan.  It was early in the morning and the sky was still foggy.

It's been a whirlwind.

I'll miss Brie.  But you know, I'm enjoying being in the company of change.  Normally, it's me up and leaving!
