Benefactor Question

Hi All,

Gord Boehler, I'm a farily new member where I joined BBS GDE in
August 1, bit confused on what's happening now...
I built this Lens and it's getting traffic and I built it around the
principal of Benfactoring. Now apparently this going to be phased
out...is that correct? Is this just a "Club" inititave or is BBS Admin
also recommending that we don't do it anymore.
Without this incentive I feel it is going to be a bit tougher
getting referrals...please set me straight on this issue

Hi Gord,

Yes, it has tended to confuse people and I'm very sorry about that!
It was the last thing on my mind that confusion should arise.

Anyone, and everyone, is still free to benefactor if that's what they
would like to do. All I said is that I will no longer promote it as
the way to go. I mean, I felt so bad when it looked like our new
member had just lost his $20, that I said to myself... no more!

Do BBS promote the idea... actually no. They have seen that the
overall results of it is not very good. The sad thing is that people
will gladly let you pay their way in, but will complain loudly by the
next month if they are not in profit.

It might be a little tougher to get referrals too, but I believe the
referrals we do get will be of a much higher calibre overall.

Having said that, I want to say this.... there are many of you that
have been benefactored into this business and have continued on,
wanting to learn what to do etc. I have nothing but the highest
regard for you all. It's just the "few" that tend to spoil things for
the rest of us.

Please be encouraged.. it's early days Gord and you are in a very
active team. Just be prepared to do your bit, that's all.

I'll try a different approach like the "rewards"

for staying in long term mentioned in your

Blog.

 

 There is always a rooten apple...hard to

believe...you get a referral and then pull

a stunt like that.
