I recently bought a Steinberg UR22 mkII, and installed the Cubase AI bundle that came with it. I am currently using WIndows 10, Cubase LE AI Elements 9.5.30, and the latest sound card drivers from Steinberg.
The only thing I can think of that I did before this problem began, was starting a cubase project without the sound card connected. I got a few error messages regarding audio channel routing. I simply pressed cancel and closed Cubase.
Update:
I found drivers named Generic low latency ASIO driver in a Steinberg folder in the start menu. I uninstalled it and that seems to have resolved the issue. Now every time I start the UR22 is correctly set as my audio device.
A DAC authorizes the holder to drive a motor vehicle on Nevada public streets and highways. It is not valid as identification to obtain any state benefits, licenses or services, or for federal purposes such as boarding aircraft or entering facilities where ID is required.
Interpreters must attest that they are approved by a governmental agency, court, educational institution, or non-profit advocacy group by presenting a letter from the approving agency and completing an "Affidavit of Oath for Interpreters" form at the DMV office. Self-certification as a DMV translator does not qualify.
There are only two differences between a DAC and a standard Nevada license. A DAC will state "Not Valid for ID" in the top portion. The blue banner will state "Driver Authorization Card" rather than "Driver License." The appearance is otherwise identical.
Check with the Highway Patrol or other law enforcement agency in each area where you will drive. The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators has ruled that the DAC driving privilege should be valid in other states under national compacts and reciprocal agreements. However, each state or jurisdiction may set its own policies.
Yes. Nevada law requires residents of this state to surrender any out-of-state license or ID card in order to obtain a Nevada license or DAC. We will punch "VOID" on the card and return it to you to use until your new DAC arrives in the mail.
You have the option of becoming an Organ Donor and having this listed on your DAC. You may become a donor or remove the designation when the card is first issued, upon renewal or upon a change of address.
I have also been through setting the default playback sound to speakers (versus Hdmi or digital sound and checking the same in Premiere preferences/ audio hardware. My computer is an HP e9150t vista ultimate (64bit) with an intel core i7 cpu950 @307ghz and 9gb of ram.
Now, if that does not work, very many people have had wonderful luck with ASIO4ALL. It is a universal ASIO driver. Install it, and then point your PrPro Input and Output to it. It will appear in the newly updated drop-down list. If it works, you might want to point any other programs, that use Audio to it.
As you point out, most Audio issues are due to settings in Audio Hardware (drivers). For much where there is a driver incompatibility, ASIO4ALL works for most, hence that rec. Still, checking ALL Audio settings in the program, the OS and any Audio console is the first thing to look into.
This 'error' should not interfere with your work. It refers to recording voice overs from within Premiere. And even if that doesn't work, you can always record the VO to tape (which I recommend even if the feature did work) and capture that.
Ah, interesting. Thank you both, I have learned something. Unfortunately, I did not save the project, it was just a test with my new computer and a borrowed HD camera. I got the error message and I couldn't hear anything on the capture. After I enabled the sound, I did not get the error message. So, I don't know how this all links together, but somehow it must.
For Audio, there are several places to set your Input/Output. First, there is the OS, next there is the Audio card's console should you have one, ant then there is the Edit>Preferences>Audio Hardware in PrPro. All must be addressed. For problems with drivers, I highly recommend trying ASIO4ALL, and think I have given the link to that.
Hi, Sir I have the same problem but when I choose the option, Edit....Prefrences.....Input/Output Divice it shows only option that is "Adobe Default Windows Sound". Please tell me what shouls I do for dubbing.
Thanks for all your post's I tried disabling the digital and HDMI outputs in playpack (thinking I could easily get them back) but could not find how to get them back. I tried going backwords using different restore points using windows system recovery. At each restore point windows ended up not being able to do the restore. In the end I deleted the driver completly in device manager. When the computer rebooted the driver reinstalled itself. The digital output reappeared the HDMI output did not (see screen shot) when I opened premiere I no longer got the error! I will try to figure out how to get the HDMI back if I ever get an HDMI monitor. I am happy everything is working now and can get on with trying to learn Premiere. Thanks for all your help!
This is only a guess, but I would assume that when you plug in your new HDMI monitor and boot up, Windows will see it, and offer to install any dirvers, or device controls necessary for it. It might prompt you for your Windows disc, or a driver disc from the mfgr., but otherwise it should be pretty seamless.
PS, you might be able to get it back by going to Control Panel>Add Hardware, and let the wizard survey your computer, or put in your computer mfgr's setup disc (my rec.), and let Windows then set up everything that was available.
Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the extra input. As I am still on PrPro 2.0, and later versions have added more playback and input selections, I could not address all that is available in CS5. In my old program, I really only have two places, where I need to set ASIO4ALL, as the driver of choice. Life has gotten a bit more complicated, so I thank you for pointing these locations out for the OP.
You will get cumulative credit for the time you held your provisional instruction permit that counts towards your six-month requirement. You must keep the expired permit with your new learner permit until you pass your driving test. Make sure to bring both your expired and valid instruction permits when you take your driving test to show proof of credit.
When it comes time to renew a limited term DL/ID card for someone with legal presence, DMV will send a renewal notice to the address on file for you. The notice will request an updated Department of Homeland Security (DHS) extension information/document. Send your completed renewal notice to DMV headquarters for processing at:
We send a courtesy notice to your address about 4 months before your DL expires. If you do not receive a notice, submit a California Driver License Renewal by Mail Eligibility Information (DL 410) form to review your ability to renew by mail.
Our vision screening standard is at least 20/40 when both eyes are tested together, and at least 20/70 in the weaker eye. If you recently had surgery to correct one eye for distance and the other for close-up vision, you may not meet the screening standard and must renew your DL in person at a DMV office.

I'm having an issue where anytime I open the Oculus App on my PC, it tells me "Update your graphics card driver," even though my driver's software claims it is up to date. The card is an NVidia GeForce GTX 1050, the PC is an HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop.
So then what do I do from here? Is there a way to install a different driver through the GeForce app, because going to the NVidia driver downloads page will only allow me to install the "Game-Ready Driver" I already have, regardless of what specific driver I pick from the dropdown menu.
