Countertop Design Trends: Tile

When it comes to tile, there are two definite trends - technology and
handmade. European countries have used technology to develop some
exciting changes in ceramic and porcelain tile that include size,
appearance and texture. On this side of the ocean, there’s been a move
back to handmade products. Both trends spell more options for the
consumer.

Glass mosaics, in fact mosaics of any kind, are becoming increasingly
popular. Some of the interest in mosaics has been precipitated by
consumers’ increased travel abroad to countries where mosaics are a
key part of the culture and architecture. When it comes to mosaics,
