I am trying to use your countdown clock on my ezteams website. I have
entered all the information and the clock looks great. I have
generated the code when I copy and paste it on my site I just get the
text I copied not the clock. Can you help? Here is the code I have.
[url=http://www.7is7.com/otto/countdown.html?

Hi,

That's BBCode that you are using, I don't know your site's software,
but usually you'd need HTML code, which is available in two options as
an iFrame or as a Pop-up. If that doesn't work, then you could create
a simple link, using the URL you have below and paste it into your
HTML page:

<a href="http://www.7is7.com/otto/countdown.html?
year=2009&month=2&date=10&hrs=0&ts=24&min=0&sec=0&tz=local&lang=en&show=d&mode=t&cdir=down&bgcolor=
%23000000&fgcolor=%23CCCC66&title=Countdown%20To%20the%20beginning%20of
%20the%20season">Countdown To the beginning of the season</a>

Hope this helps,
Otto

Otto,
Thanks for your quick response.  That let me but a link on my page but I would like the counter right on my page on a link. Is that possible?

Hi Donna,

I am not quite sure what you mean by "I would like the counter right
on my page on a link", but you can have it in on your page by using
the "Generate iFrame code" option and pasting that code into your
page.

Take care,
Otto

Otto,
Sorry for being a pain but here it the code I  got:

When I insert this code it gives me a link on my web site not an actual counter. The link works but I really want a counter right on the site not a link.

Hi Donna,

OK, I see, that's a problem that happens with a lot of services, they
filter out certain tags, which makes adding a clock in the page
impossible. MySpace and Google sites do it for example. There isn't
really much you can do usually except choose some other service for
your website.

What's the service that you use?

Take care,
Otto

Hi Donna,

I looked into creating an account to test it, but they charge 11$ per
month, so I won't. There must be some kind of help desk or forum of
users, where you could ask for help about how to use iframes in your
page (and probably also about using javascript).

Personally, but this is just my opinion, if you pay so much money for
a site per month, they should at least allow you to make the site you
want. After all, each client is identified so you don't run as much
risk of someone doing something malicious anyway (as you might on
MySpace).

Sorry, that I am not able to help more,
Otto
