We have recently added 3 new languages to the countdown clock, which
brings the total languages in which you can run a countdown to 24! The
latest additions are:

Latvian (Latviešu) contributed by Maris Lucans
Russian (Русский) contributed by Maria Poloneitsik
Croatian (Hrvatski) contributed by Denis Vida

A special thank you to those who contributed a translation!

The language choice turns out to be a popular feature of the countdown
clock. I made a short overview of the languages used in May. We can
see that nearly 18.5% of all countdowns were in a language other than
English. With Spanish leading the pack accounting for over 6%,
followed by Dutch which was just short of 3%. Italian, French, Polish
and German were all used more than 1% of the time.

So I guess it's time to brush up on my Spanish:
¡Gracias a todos que han utilizado una cuenta al revés en Castellano!

English 81.57%
Spanish 6.15%
Dutch 2.92%
Italian 1.55%
French 1.38%
Polish 1.28%
German 1.22%
Swedish 0.96%
Portuguese 0.92%
Danish 0.83%
Turkish 0.54%
Norwegian 0.25%
Basque 0.09%
Indonesian 0.08%
Finnish 0.08%
Hungarian 0.06%
Catalan 0.05%
Latvian 0.03%
Slovenian 0.01%
Estonian 0.01%
Russian 0.00%
Afrikaans 0.00%
Swahili 0.00%

Only a few days have passed since the previous posts and already we
have two more languages:

Japanese (日本語) contributed by Otto de Voogd and Tomoko Maekawa
Esperanto (Esperanto) contributed by Chris Robinson

Which bring the current total to 26 languages.
