What do you use to edit your website?
If you use an webpage editor make sure to add the code into the HTML
source.
There are blogs and other services that do not allow javascript or
iframes, if you are using such a service there is not too much you can
do.

Hi Kelsey,

It's possible to add a countdown clock there, check this one:
http://countdown.sauropol.com/

When you are in the new article editor, click on the button that has
"HTML" written under it in small letters.
I the popup that appears you can insert an HTML snippet, paste the
code into that box and click OK (once, the window doesn't close and it
get reinserted every time you click).

You then also need to save or publish the article to see a working
clock as the preview does not show it working.
