Election countdowns, languages and support.

Hello All,

The countdown clock is getting a lot of extra interest thanks to the
upcoming US elections! There are only a few days left for the election
day countdown, but after that one could count down to the inauguration
of the new president, which takes place at noon on January 20th, 2009.
At least if your favorite candidate wins, otherwise you could count
down to the next presidential elections which will be on November 6th,
2012. The US Presidential elections countdown page now offers the
option to prefill the details for these dates, it's never been easier
to create a US election or inauguration countdown:

Since my last posting the countdown clock has been made available in
several new languages. The translations have been provided by
volunteers, who we wish to thank for their efforts:
