My Brothers All,
Council 11552 is hosting the Third Degree this Friday evening at the Parish Hall which begins promptly at 7:30 pm.
1. All Second Degree members are eligible to take the Third Degree and will become full knights in our order.
All Candidates for the Third Degree need to be at the Parish Hall entrance between 7:00 pm and 7:25 pm.
If you are late and do not get there by 7:25 pm when registration closes, you will not get in as the doors will have been closed.
If you plan to take your Third Degree this Friday, 18 Nov, please let FS Pat Griffin or I know so we have a head count on candidates.
Remember to bring your Second Degree Membership Card and have signed it.
2. I encourage all Third Degree Knights to attend this degree as it is different from the one you originally took.
This is the new Third Degree and there are some significant changes that have been made since last year and earlier.
If you plan to attend the degree, please let FS Pat Griffin or I know as we need a head count for refreshments after the degree.
Remember to bring your Third Degree Membership Card and have signed it.
Please be in the hall no later than 7:25pm for the degree.

3. This is the major degree for us and I need your help as follows:
a. Kitchen detail to prepare the after degree refreshments - including planning what to serve.
b. Detail for Hall setup before degree and clean up afterwards.
c. Inside and Outside Guards beginning at 6:30 pm before and during the degree to maintain security at hall entrances.
4. Kitchen detail and prep will begin by 5pm or earlier, if needed. Who wants to be in charge of the Kitchen?
Hall setup will begin at 5:30 pm.
The State Degree team arrives at 6:30 pm.
Please let me know if you are available to help with the degree in any capacity.
We will probably have around 100 or so people at the degree, including the candidates too.
We do not feed the degree team before the degree anymore.
We only provide food and drink after the degree to all attendees.
Dress for this degree is Priest suit; Military, Fireman, or Policeman uniform; or Coat and Tie for all other members.
Do not wear council officer jewels.

Remember Father Jeffery Dauses will be getting his Third Degree this weekend with us.
Lets make this a great degree for the candidates and guests.
We may have some assistance with kitchen, setup, tear down and cleanup from the other councils in our District.
Lets make them welcome and put them to work.
