ArashiSea (海の嵐, "Umi no Arashi", Viz: "Storm Sea") is located in Wani ocean. It is known for its volatile nature; storms are almost constantly raging throughout the waters with varying intensity. Ships generally take the long way around in order to avoid the ruckus but during rare moments the sea is sometimes clear during the winter time.

Fire Sea (海の火, "Umi no Hi", Viz: "Fire Sea") is located in Usagi ocean. It is a sea highly regulated by the Land of Fire and is used primarily as a military waterway. There is a canal leading from Fire sea to Sekai sea created by a cooperative effort between the Tea Country and the Fire Country. This has opened the way for the sea to become a great commercial lane for exports and imports to many nations, allowing easy access to the United Island Republic cluster in the middle of Sekai sea

Sekai Sea (海の世界, "Umi no Sekai", Viz: "World Sea") is located in Usagi ocean. Within the center of the sea is the United Island Republic, a cluster of 20 countries that have united under economic, defensive and political purposes. It is known as the most strategic economic and military sea in the world. Even though there is a united front, some of the island nations are in open war or have at one point been. Since the pirate attacks which have become more prevalent, they have put their differences aside to deal with the issues at hand.

Amado Sea (海の雨戸, "Umi no Amado", Viz: "Shutter Sea") is located in Usagi ocean. It is a massive body of water that, if it were smaller, would be a lake. Amado is a sight for war and strife as nations to the north of it battle for supremacy time and time again. Failed attempts at building a canal to connect to Chigiri sea has seen countless trillions of ryō being spent with no results. Amado is "shut out" of world affairs due to its nature but it provides great benefits to those who port around it. Food within the seas is essential and water can produce all sorts of energy. The further north one gets into the sea the colder it gets and the more likely they are to come into contact with glacial blocks.

Gohan Sea (海のご飯, "Umi no Gohan", Viz: "Rice Sea") is located in Usagi ocean. It is a very peaceful, uneventful sea used by commercial companies to ship goods across the ocean. Trade between those of the Shijin continent and the Temujin continent do not engage in trade often but ships will often take a southern path to ship to other parts of the Shijin continent. Most of the boats therein are from the Land of Rice. Recently, boats in the darkness of night have been seen coming from the Land of Thieves through this sea and further south. What is their purpose? No one knows.

Teshio Sea (海の手塩, "Umi no Teshio", Viz: "Salt Sea") is located in Usagi ocean. It is known for its incredibly high concentration of salt and as such only certain sea-fairing animals can live within these waters. If a person were to fall within the waters the saline concentration is so fraught that their skin and flesh could dry within minutes during summer seasons! Teshio is crawling with pirates and is largely unregulated by the shinobi navies. In the past the Sea Country hired the Hidden Mist Village to protect their interests but due to a period of peace this agreement was nullified. Teshio will often have trash drifting through it due to the landfill countries the Trash Country and the Garbage Country dumping their excess into the ocean.

Samu Sea (海の寒, "Umi no Samu", Viz: "Cold Sea") is located in Tōran ocean. It is an incredibly frigid sea covered in ice and a thick mist. Some say that there is something that lie dormant beneath the ice. It is impossible to traverse the waters in this north-pole sea without the proper sea-fairing equipment. Not even shinobi trained with withstand the cold can live and travel unattended through this water.

Kitsune Sea (海の狐, "Umi no Kitsune", Viz: "Fox Sea") is located in Umibōzu ocean. It is a busy sea that allows for access to the Yami continent. Prehistoric creatures roam the watery deeps but generally keep to themselves. The sea is eerily calm and if one lingers too long they are said to be captivated by the still waters, never to be seen again.

Kin Sea (海の金, "Umi no Kin", Viz: "Gold Sea") is located in Mojio ocean. It is said to be the most valuable body of water due to the supposed hidden treasures that have been sunk underwater. Many on the continent flock to the waters to try and see what they can retrieve but view ever find anything. To make matters even more interesting, the sea itself has an odd gold tint to it. Some say its because the gold beneath the sea is reflecting onto the surface.

Ōburi Gulf (湾の大降り, "Wan no Ōburi", Viz: "Great Rainfall Gulf") is located in Wani ocean. It is a bay to the south of the Land of Water and is noted as a sea that seems to be in a perpetual state of rainy-season. Although the rain doesn't always pour it does seem to be a bottomless source. This gulf is known as a place for the most daring of pirates to scour the ocean, looking for ships carrying valuable goods. Still, the Water Country and the Island Country both patrol these waters, engaging with the pirates when needed.

Fubuki Gulf (湾の吹雪, "Wan no Fubuki", Viz: "Snowstorm Gulf") is located in Tōran ocean. It is a frigid and cold bay with floating ice dotting the waters. Fubuki is a prime location for ports that accept imports from the Temujin continent for sale into the Yukiguni continent. Fubuki bay is full of a very valuable resource: oil.

Kesshō Gulf (湾の結晶, "Wan no Kesshō", Viz: "Crystal Gulf") is located in Usagi ocean. It is the busiest gulf in all the world due to some 13 countries sharing borders with it with a strait separating Shijin and Yukiguni continent. Due to its size, Kesshō bay runs along three continents and has been the subject of many disputes for decades. Several islands within the waters are said to belong to one land or another. The gulf has jagged rocks just below the surface of the water that make it difficult to traverse during low tide seasons. During the summer and spring the water swells and grows higher, so unsuspecting travelers should be aware of their direction; some even hire guides. Within Kesshō there are valuable gems and crystals toward the bottom. Discussions over who have claim to these goods continue to take place, especially as oil has been found beneath.

Benzaiten Gulf (湾の弁才天, "Wan no Benzaiten", Viz: "Benzaiten Gulf") is located in the eastern part of Usagi ocean. It is said to be the resting place of the goddess Benzaiten who resides beneath the surface of the waters. For this reason all commercial and military porting is banned; the people view it as sacred and come here year young but especially in the warm winters to pray and worship Benzaiten. In recent times some nations have begun militarizing the gulf, resulting in discord.

Reisen Bay (湾の冷戦, "Wan no Reisen", Viz: "Cold War Bay") is located in Tōran ocean. It is an icy bay with floating blocks that is used primarily by companies owned in the Land of Blizzards and the Land of Ninja. These two countries have been at odds for over 200 years and as such the name of the gulf is fitting. Every now and again a ship from either side is sunk into the icy waters but it rarely ever escalates and dies down in the media.

Trash Channel (水路の塵, "Suiro no Chiri", Viz: "Waste Passage") is located in Usagi ocean. It is perhaps the messiest, most unsightly sea channel in all the Earth. This channel is littered with trash and boats have to sometimes sail through it to travel. This is because the Land of Trash and the Land of Garbage are landfill countries and sometimes illegally toss their trash into the sea. The surrounding nations have become agitated but because some of the world's largest and most powerful countries ship their garbage to these countries they are politically and militarily protected. All of this waste has resulted in the death of countless animals, extinction of rare coral and plants and the deformity of offspring.

Wind Channel (水路の風, "Suiro no Kaze", Viz: "Windy Passage") is located in Usagi ocean. It is a very windy water channel patrolled by the Land of Wind. This passage is known for its stiff winds that draw unsuspecting travels far off from their destination. Some claim it is bandits from the Sand Country attempting to drift people off and steal their goods.

Swamp Lake (沼湖, "Shōko", Viz: "Marsh Lake") is located in south of the Land of Swamps. This swampy lake is large and for some reason seems to birth odd, otherworldly creatures of great proportion. Large winding rivers allow access from and to the ocean which has also made it a strategic military point used by nations like the Land of Fire, despite being distant.
