I am using 2016 lt and i am trying to copy and paste a site survey (from another company) into an existing drawing file of mine, the problem is that the levels text, text and notation generally have decided to adopt a different font (which is the font i use for my logo on drawing layouts) as a result it doesnt look acceptable as the font in question is magneto. There have never been problems before as my drawing file came originally from autocad 2002 lt and this never happened when carrying out copy and paste.
Let me guess: you call your text and dimstyles STANDARD and they do too? bad habits on both of your parts.
Either way, the file you are in will replace all identically named objects from the file you paste it with it's own settings. Go into the source file and change the names of items both files have identically first, or INSERT your file into THEIR file (reverse of what you are doing) to preserve their settings.
If originally they had a layer called TEXT and so did you it would be a pain to change their text to a new colour. If the layer is called CLIENT TEXT however all you need to do is change the layer colour.
