Hi, I am starting a new project which will make use of couchdb and I was looking into the many different libraries. One of my requirements is the ability to listen to changes in all of the databases at the server, which is a functionality provided on CouchDB through the "_db_updates". It seems that the current version of the this library (1.0?) does not provide this. I looked into other alternatives and found https://github.com/histrio/py-couchdb/ which does seem to have this.

Unfortunately, this library does not provide the mapping module that you guys have, and which I am also using. So, I am in a situation that I either keep two semi-complete libraries, or help one of them to fill the missing functionality. My question would be then how I could help?

You could implement it in CouchDB-Python! I'm happy to provide
guidance, review and merge it if you come up with a merge request.

Is that something you are in a position to take on?

Alternatively, I could take this on as a consulting project, if that
would be a better fit for your project.

Cheers,
