Hi Sean,

I've been running 2.0.1 community edition on my system without any issues.

I assume you're talking about community edition since you mention there's no 2.1 release.

All I did was unzip the archive and move it to my application directory.

The Mac release of 2.1.1 EE is out today.

If you don't have data you're concerned with, I'd shutdown and remove the current Couchbase.app, then remove what's in ~/Library/Application Support/Couchbase (including that directory).  Then install 2.1.1.

Thanks,

Matt

thank you all. I was able to clean up, install 2.0.1 and start server.
I would try to clean/install/start 2.1.0 later.

just installed 2.1.1 and tried to run beer sample. I got the following error:

This may happen during warmup or certain reconfiguration situations.  Does it persist after the node shows warmed up in the web UI?  In the web UI in the list of nodes, it'll show as "pending" if it's not yet warmed up.
