Hi all, 

When we first set up team-8091, the idea was to organize some champions to get the message out about "Couchbase 2.0".  Well, we did that, then we've shipped 3.0, Couchbase Mobile with Couchbase Lite and Sync Gateway, etc.  It's been great fun over the last couple of years.

Some of the team have gone on to other projects and even come back to write books about Couchbase, others are regularly active on forums.couchbase.com regularly (which has, in a good way, taken most of the technical discussion away from this forum) and a few others aren't involved any longer.

The reason I write today is that in the not too distant future, we're going to announce a new program that'll both support and highlight those of you who are champions in the Couchbase community.  Since it all started here, I thought you should hear it first.

If you're interested to hear more and we've not talked to you already, feel free to reach out to both matt at couchbase and laura at couchbase via email.  We'll be glad to give you the rundown.  

Next week we'll be doing some announcements around this, so keep an eye out.
