Hello Varun,
I hope you are doing fine and this mail finds you great spirits.
I would like to bring this notice to you about one of our important and growing IGs which is a very potential market for oGIP and other different avenues as well. I recently did my LCP visit in the university campus which is 3.5 hours away from Indore to address the core committee, the membership and the administration block which comprised of the dean and director.
I had my first visit on 12th to NMIMS Shirpur campus with Arun and Archit from the EB where our agenda was very simple, I started with the core committee meeting where addressed myself as the LCP of AIESEC and then introducing them some new aspects of their own team, campus membership, membership criteria from compendium and sharing few things to inform them about some important avenues and focus areas. I wanted to know how much they have understood AIESEC and the relevance of AIESEC's existence. I eventually asked them questions like Why AIESEC exists? What you think about AIESEC Indore? What importance and commitment you have towards AIESEC as a foundation and leadership body? What do you understand by Values and visions of AIESEC? and some more revolving around Why? How? and What? AIESEC.
I did receive answer which had their understanding of all the questions very well and which really impressed me because they got this knowledge in a very short period of time. Now I feel that we should move ahead with the processes of AIESEC and what and how AIESEC India is doing expansion work with the IGs and OEs. Archit (coach of AIESEC cell in shirpur university from AIESEC Indore EB) will be soon starting activities like EwA of the members, exchange programs, collaboration with their cultural fests, recruitment, conference participation, etc.
From the Director's and Dean's desk of NMIMS: I had a formal and official meeting with the Dean Dr. Manojkumar V. Deshpande and Director Mr.Tapan P Bagchi. To be honest and frank they were very humble about AIESEC and always had a smile face attitude throughout the meeting, they were very open to ideas and flexible up to a extent towards students who wants to participate in AIESEC activities. To design all the outputs I got from the meeting are as follows:
1. 1 week official leave for all AIESEC members per semester for AIESEC National conferences.
2. iGIP TNs for English and German language training and sports trainer for cricket, tennis and basketball with food and accommodation free and stipend with a handsome amount.
3. Global Village in Annual cultural fest in March-April with food and accommodation free for all the internationals.
4. OGX for TNs in mechanical engineering. (archit will be talking to vandit and mayank about this soon). 20% of the whole expenses will be covered by University provided the TNs are according to exactly their requirement.
5. No as such flexibility shown on rest of attendance for students going for internship but I am sure if the TNs are good they will support in terms of attendance as well. Otherwise they have long summer break to do their internship.
Note: By core committee I mean a team 9 members who are handling 8 different portfolios like OGX, ICX, TM, Marketing, Events, Promotion, IM, Finance and the main coordinator. These members are in regular touch with the respective EB members of AIESEC Indore to keep a track, update and check on all the activities happening inside the campus. And the main coordinator or the coach from our side is Archit who is the overall representative of the IG NMIMS Shirpur to AIESEC Indore and AIESEC India whenever needed.
This is pretty much from my desk towards one of the most prominent and prime AIESEC expansion happening in a reputed and big university. I wish to make this IG as an official IG of AIESEC Indore which will really give the members and the core committee a great motivation. I am also looking forward to have guidance from your side as well towards the activities which we did and planned to do. I shall soon make a report of the whole operational and strategic activities happening towards this IG.
Looking forward for your reply.
See you soon :)
Cheers,

Warm Regards.
