Washington – With the U.S. Senate preparing to take up the issue of Senate rules reform when it returns to session later this month, the leading policymakers behind the rules reform push will join on a press conference call Tuesday, January 18th at 11:30 AM Eastern to highlight the need for Senate reform, to discuss the content of their proposed rules reforms, and to assess how the debate is likely to proceed in the coming weeks.
On Tuesday, hear directly from Senator Tom Harkin (IA), Senator Jeff Merkley (OR), and Senator Tom Udall (NM) as they offer their insight on how the current rules governing the U.S. Senate harm the democratic process and our nation’s ability to respond to the challenges of our time.
