TT Assistant Professor of Neuroscience

Haverford College is seeking applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of Neuroscience (open area). The successful candidate will join the thriving Bi-College (Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges) Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program, which offers both a major and minor in Neuroscience. Candidates will teach the equivalent of five courses across the academic year, including teaching credit for supervising senior thesis research. The position begins July 1, 2026, for the fall semester of 2026, and it is expected that the Ph.D. will be completed prior to the start date. Postdoctoral experience is highly desirable.

Candidates whose teaching and research falls within the areas of cellular/molecular neuroscience and/or computational neuroscience are especially encouraged to apply. We cannot accommodate additional research programs that require housing for vertebrate model organisms (e.g., rodents, fish, birds, non-human primates) on campus.
