Two postdoctoral positions are available at the Haroush Lab, Department of Neurobiology, Stanford University,
California in an exciting, largely uncharted field to study multiregional neural computations underlying dynamic social interactions and their development
in Marmosets and in Rhesus Macaques (two positions available, respectively). We combine largescale neural recordings and perturbations, innovative game-theory driven behavioral paradigms, machine vision and advanced computational and modeling
methods to get at how dynamic social behaviors are mediated at the neuronal and population level. The project seeks to uncover
-
How are internal models of other agents built and updated with social experiences?
-
How do social predictions inform social strategies?
-
How are multiple timescales of computation implemented across the social brain?
