RIKEN Early Career Leaders call for PI positions, deadline in August

Dear Cosyne community,

RIKEN is a group of Japanese national research institutes, and it is seeking to hire early- and mid-career PIs under its Early Career Leaders (ECL) Program. This Program extends across all RIKEN institutes, but perhaps those of greatest interest here are the Center for Brain Science, the Advanced Intelligence Project, and the Center for Interdisciplinary Theoretical and Mathematical Sciences, all located in the Tokyo area. There is also the more biologically oriented Center for Biosystems Dynamics Research in Kobe. The positions come with a respectable annual research budget, and there is an additional program to provide extra research funds to women PIs.

The deadline for pre-registration is August 7, and that for the full application (including letters of recommendation) is August 14.
