How do you wear it?

A friend in Morocco sent me an outfit that he describes as
"Andalusian." However, I can't find a picture anywhere on the web of
anything like this.

Imagine a dress (of sorts) that the top is like a vest that drapes
down to fall between your legs, then up the front where it ties on the
torso.

Problem is, I'm not sure _where_ to tie it. Hips? Waist? Underarms?

This outfit is so cute and looks very comfy, but I want to wear it
right.

Anyone got any suggestions?
