Waiting for an update on killing a pig but no news is forthcoming?  As a young boy, I helped my father when he killed a pig.  The hardest chore was scrapping the bristles off the hide.  I must admit, it upset me just a little the first time I saw my father stab the pig in the heart, collect the warm blood spurting out and then proceed to drink a good glass full.  Guess it was something done in Czechoslovakia, the land of his birth!  Ed

Well...i understand...i dont particularily like watching them die..but  

There are advantages to being at the top of the food chain...luckily for me it doesnt bother my son...he is rather good at butchering them....i have always shot them .... jerry uses a ball-peen hammer... (did i spell it right???)

My favorite part is the crowd of family and friends sharing in the experience!!

Then of course frying up the spoils!!!
