la carroza - the parade float (carroza can also mean old or old geezer)

  • Las calles de América serán ruidosas hoy con desfiles de carrozas
    The streets of America will be noisy today with float parades.

  • Los niños decoraron la carroza del desfile.
    The children decorated the parade float.

As a noun, carroza can refer to a carriage, a parade float, a funeral car, or more informally an old fogey or old woman.  As an adjective, carroza means old.
