So, "elections have consequences..." Isn't that what they say? ;-)

What would you guess the consequences of the 2018 Presidential Election in Costa Rica will be?

On one hand we have the party in power (PAC) win so maybe not much changes? But on the other hand, we now have what will be one of the youngest presidents coming on board. He's a rock-and-roller who likes Pink Floyd and his 1st (of 2) vice-presidents is not only a lady, but an afrocostarricense and economist to boot! President-elect Carlos has already publicly stated he'll push for legalizing gay marriage and doing away with oil and gas production (like we have any!) in Costa Rica.

I'm sure we'll be hearing much more in the days to come, but these could be some exciting times in Costa Rica.
