Wow...we have had a lot of rain...our pasture has become an oasis for the cows....converting from a dry fire hazard to a green wonderland .... finished cutting the yard...in the rain of course...but it looks very nice...we have one cow that is thin...she had a calf a month or two ago at the height of the dry season...that took a lot out of her...we have her near the house where she gets concentrate and special treatment...seems to be improving...we have 2 pigs ready to slaughter...two more need another month...
I cleaned another gallo yesterday...slowly thinning the chickens down to layers and maybe one or two roosters. .maybe half a dozen more to go...the flock is young...there are two that are laying now...i am sure more to follow very soon...the eggs are small ... normal for newly matured hens i am told...
Well ... anybody else want to share???
Good morning and welcome to another day in paradise...maybe i can get some more block laid between the rains...for the bodega..
