Saw on the news today that the Hotel Del Rey is reopening. I didn't even
know it was closed. I know the Sportsman's Lodge stayed open because it
was one of the first places to offer Covid tests for people traveling by
air.

I left that scene after I met my wife 12 years ago and can't imagine
what it's like now. When we are in Jaco my wife gets angry with me for
looking at the working girls and I ask her what am I supposed to do
drive with my eyes closed?

Have you not explained to your wife that you are the Man of the House and that you are in charge? jaja

The Rey closed due to Covid and when employees who were old enough to retire tried to get benefits they were told that they had not worked for 11 years.

Same with those wanting to go the hospital.  They had not paid any taxes for 11 years.

From what I understand they had to give the Key Largo bar and Del Mar restaurant to the City to be made into a cultural center.

I know that there has been yellow tape on all the doors and parking lot saying closed by taxation.

If government had their way they would install meters and charge by the stroke.

You know what they say about taxing anything that moves.  If it does not move it must be real estate and tax it too.
