Hi Gene,

It so happens that I am looking for a great name for a sailboat...

Are you suggesting "nsme" or "GWTW"?  I must be mispronouncing them with a West Texas twang or something...

Can you elaborate and/or elucidate?  jajaja.

Hi Gene,

Ah, got it!  jajaja.  That is a good name for a sailboat.  However, I'll have a small stern and not enough room to spell out "Gone With The Wind" and I'd hate to have to 'splain the initials to folks who have only vaguely heard of some old movie that nobody in their woke mind would ever dream of watching.  I'm thinking something shorter like "Roxy" and not longer than "Nauti Buoy" or "Shawondasee".

What was your goat naming scheme?  Singers or songs or some related hoo-haw.

Jajaja...   I don't know if that was a goat joke or an ABC joke, but "alee" is good!

How about "La Racha"?

Alee is no joke at all; not a common word maybe, but it means "on the leeward side."   La Racha (wind gust), yeah, that's good too.

For the more salty amongst us it is a regular nautical term.  jajaja.
"alee" is pretty, but sailors are very much not fans of lee shores.

"La Racha" is growing on me.  It fits my naming scheme as well.

The first 4x4 SUV I bought in Costa Rica I named "Garrobo" and
it behaved like one -- surefooted and forceful.
